3D Developers Catch the Wave

Template Graphics Software (TGS), the long-time producer of interactive, 3D developer tools for Windows 95/NT, is moving to the Web with 3Space Publisher, a powerful 3D design and animation application that allows content developers to easily create 3D visuals for Web pages, CD-ROM titles, and desktop-publishing applications.

3Space Publisher includes intuitive creation tools and a large collection of 3D clip art, 3D animated GIFs, and Java applets. Dynamic 3D visuals can be created and published in a wide range of file formats: 3D/VRML, 3D ActiveX, Java, animated GIF, video for Web pages and CD-ROMs, and photo-realistic images for Word and PowerPoint documents.

3Space Publisher tools can be used to create objects ranging from 3D banners and icons to complex 3D scenes. Because 3Space objects' default colors, textures, and lighting can be manipulated with the click of a mouse, the application is ideal for both beginners and advanced Web designers. Users have access to a library of more than 500 drag-and-drop 3D clip-art objects; the option to import content from Autodesk, AutoCAD, 3D Studio, DXF, SGI's Open Inventor, and VRML 1.0 and 2.0; and access to Web sites with thousands of free 3D models.
