Web graphics are getting a boost with version 2.0 of Asymetrix Web 3D, which allows Webmasters and Web-page designers to create high-performance 3D graphics without expensive graphics software or a UNIX workstation-all you need is a standard Windows machine and $49.95.

Web 3D has a drag-and-drop interface that lets you quickly and easily combine the components found in the Catalog, a collection of starter scenes, 3D models, surfaces, preset animation paths, scene lighting, backdrops, and Web-page your own elements, as well. Once you've composed and modified your scenes, the Web 3D software completes the rendering process, allowing you to preview solid models (not wireframes) for greater accuracy. You can then manipulate the models and text by dragging and dropping preset or customized animation paths; GIF89a animations can be output directly, and still images can be saved in GIF or JPEG formats.
