NetStudio has recently announced NetStudio 1.0, a Web graphics creation
application that enables virtually anyone who
can use Microsoft Office to create graphics for Web sites. With NetStudio,
nonartists can create sophisticated graphics
and special effects with the click of a mouse. The program lets you
mix colors, fonts, effects, and layout. It includes a
comprehensive set of Web graphics, including buttons, navigation bars,
fancy text, banners, photographs, backgrounds, and
shapes. Within its Office-style interface you can also create special
effects, including color changes, shadows, washouts,
transparency fades, fade fills, picture fills, and embosses.
NetStudio 1.0 will be available in the third quarter of 1998 at a suggested
retail price of $149. For a beta version, check out
