Chris Kunicki, CTO, hiptrends.com Like many Web developers, I like to have a number of tools at my disposal. My favorite HTML editor is Allaire's HomeSite. It's a great text editor that makes producing HTML very easy. To complement HomeSite I like to use BradSoft's TopStyle and AI Internet Solutions' CSE Validator. TopStyle takes all the guess work out of CSS, and CSE Validator fixes many mistakes that normally sneak into HTML documents. Using CSE in a team environment reduces the number of problems that arise from cross-browser issues.
Joel Anderson, Web Developer, Plural I spend much of my time writing HTML and ASP code. I'm the kind of guy who prefers keyboard shortcuts to mousing around the menus. For me, it's all about tools that are fast and simple to use. TextPad, by Helios Software, is a very streamlined text editor with simple and intuitive shortcuts.
