San Francisco, CA, May 2, 2002—CMP Media LLC (NASDAQ: UNEWY) ) today announced that New Architect magazine has garnered a Western Publications Associations (WPA) Maggie Award for the best Computers/Software, Training & Program Development magazine. New Architect won the award as Web Techniques magazine having changed its name to New Architect in March of 2002.

New Architect is the longest standing publication devoted to the Internet industry. It provides coverage of Internet strategies for technology leaders.
