Bob Melk, Group Director and Publisher
Bob has more than 14 years of experience in the media industry, the last ten
of which were focused on technology publications. Bob began his career as a
media planner at Saatchi & Saatchi and moved on to serve as Ad Director
of Boston Magazine. His expertise in technology publications began at
IDG's Publish Magazine and continued at Primedia, where he held the position
of Ad Director for Folio magazine. Bob has been with CMP Media for the
last five years, first as an Associate Publisher for 3D Design magazine
and finally as Publisher of Web Techniques magazine and Group Director
for CMP's Internet & Mobile group. Bob was responsible for leading the transformation
of Web Techniques magazine into New Architect. He has a degree
in broadcasting and a passion for publishing.

Christopher Null, Editor in Chief
New Architect magazine
Christopher has been an editor with Smart Business and LAN Times magazines, and he has contributed to Wired, Men's Journal, Yahoo! Internet Life, and dozens of additional publications. He founded the popular entertainment Web site filmcritic.com in 1995 and still serves as its Editor-in-Chief (once in a while, he even sees a movie), and he recently published his debut novel, Half Mast. He holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.

Margaret Berry, Managing Editor
Maggie is a technical editor and journalist. Before joining the New
Architect team as Managing Editor, she served as Managing Editor and Senior
Editor of strategy and design for Web Techniques, and Associate Editor
for Windows NT Systems. She's also active in the Weblog community.

Neil McAllister, Sr. Editor, Technology
Neil keyed his first code in 1983. After a stint in IT management, he made the
jump to the Web. He's worked on projects for such clients as Nike and Citibank
and remains a regular contributor to the Technology page of SF Gate, the online
home of the San Francisco Chronicle.
